Old Khaki Fabric 2-Layer Face Masks

All you need to know for the reduced risk of spreading a virus

Fabric face masks are recommended as an addition to hand-washing and social distancing, in order to significantly reduce your risk of spreading a virus. Our masks are designed to cover your nose to chin and fasten by means of elasticated ear loops for maximum comfort.

When handling the mask, only touch the ear loops and avoid touching the fabric and/or filter. Fidgeting with the mask repeatedly is strongly discouraged, as it is important to avoid touching the face with hands.

Our fabric face masks are packaged as 3-packs that contains 3 x masks & 13 x D15 filters. This is due to it being recommended that each person should have at least 3 fabric face masks, so that one face mask is available to wear, while the other is being washed and the last safely stored in a sanitised container, always ready for use whereever you are.

Safety Tips

It is, nevertheless important to observe basic rules when using these fabric face masks to ensure that they are used optimally:

  • The face mask must cover the nose and mouth completely.
  • Face masks should not be lowered when speaking, coughing or sneezing.
  • The inner side of the mask should, under no circumstances, be touched by hands, not even when sterilising and disposing of mask and/or filter.
  • Change your fabric face mask if it is wet or visibly soiled.
  • Never share your used masks and/or D15 filters with anyone, not even after washing and sterilising the items.

D15 Filter

The 3 layer D15 filter has been specially developed and manufactured in South Africa for use in face masks for the general population. It works by entrapping 95% of micro particles above 5μm (microns) to help in the fight against viruses. Each filter may be sterilised 5 x times before discarding.
